Little boys love fishing | family story | Sunshine Coast Family photographer

One of my favorite things to do is to capture family memories by telling a story.  Finding that one little thing that a child or family love to do together and focusing the session around that subject.  When my children were little, this was how I loved to photograph them.

My little nephew from Brisbane was no different!  Seeing a little boy having fun, getting wet and exploring in nature was just too cute for words!  Little Adam who is only 2, has the most amazing nature he is strong willed and the funniest mannerisms!!  My heart smiles when I see him, and he has a special place in my heart!

We spent a few hours at Buderim Falls along the stream...for our session.  We live in the most amazing part of the world, the forests one day, and the beach the next!  Here are images from our session together. Enjoy!

As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen.  Winne the Pooh

Lifestyle Mommy and Baby Session | Sunshine Coast Photographer

I met this lovely lady a few months ago when her baby was 6 months old.  We were able to capture some amazing memories then, and we did now when he turned 1 year!  Capturing memories of your children growing up is a wonderful thing to do - prints that hang on the wall for the world to see your love and commitment to your child.

Beautiful session at Noosa beach!

Enjoy them while they are young....

Mother and child session | sunshine coast family photographer

I was blown away when my friend called and said she was visiting from New South Wales and especially wanting a Fine art portrait.  I was lucky enough to do her newborn session and it was wonderful to have the updated mother and child to match!  We had a glorious weekend together even with a very sick little boy. Needless to say he is all better not, but you can never plan these things.  However we were still able to get some amazing portraits

Family Session | Sunshine Coast Photographer - Nikki Olivier Photography

Hi again, everyone! Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That's true of my session with the Barnard family, too!

I met up with them On Thursday afternoon at Ocean Street and the weather was perfect. My client brief was “We just want some informal lifestyle images, of our family having fun - nothing too stiff or posed.” Being a primarily a portrait photographer…I thought this would be a challenge!!!  However – it was awesome fun!!!  While the weather was fine, it was the Barnard family that made this shoot such a blast!

“Enjoy the little things in life…one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things!”
